At present, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Syrian Arab Republic implements following visa policy and application procedures:

Submit the application at the Consular Office of the embassy at the appointment time and retain ten fingerprints. (The following applicants can be exempted from fingerprints collection: ①Applicants under the age of 14 or over 70; ②Diplomatic passport holders, or applicants eligible for Diplomatic, Service and Courtesy visas; ③Applicants who already had their fingerprints collected within pastfive years at the embassy with the same passport; ④Applicants whose fingers are all missing or fingerprints of all fingers cannot be retained)

2、Document Requirement
(1)Printed Confirmation Page and form with a 48*33mm photo;
(2)Original passport (passport with no less than six months validity and blank visa page) and copy of the information page with a 48*33mm photo;
(3) Copy of latest visa to China, or latest resident permit in China (if applicative);
(4) Copy of ID card (for Syrian citizens), or valid long-term visa to Syria/resident permit in Syria (for citizens of third countries in Syria)

3、Foreigners who don’t need to apply for visas
①Foreigners who are eligible for various visa exemption agreements; ②Foreigners who hold valid Chinese permanent residence permit; ③Foreigners holding various valid residence permits; ④Foreigners holding valid APEC Business Travel Cards.
4、Payment and Collection Procedure
Visa Application normally takes 4 working days (No reception of urgent applications). Applicants submit the application materials to the Consular Office and receive pick-up form, then pay the due fee noted by showing the pick-up form to the Arab Bank and receive a bank voucher. At last, applicant return the pick-up form and the bank voucher to the Consular Office and collect the issued visa.
