A: On the early morning of April 28 Beijing time, the UN Security Council held an informal consultation and open meeting on the Syria issue. Some countries expressed reservations about the Security Council issuing a presidential Press Statement on the situation in Syria and no agreement was reached. China participated in relevant discussions with a constructive attitude.
